NHPC hosts 48th Annual General Meeting
NHPC hosted its 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 28th August 2024, through video conferencing from its Corporate Office, Faridabad. The members of the company inter-alia considered proposal for declaration of final dividend of Rs 0.50/- per equity share for the year 2023-24, which is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 1.40 /- per equity share paid in March 2024. Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi laid the foundation stone of India’s Largest electric bus depot at Vasant Vihar, Delhi on 13.08.2024 in the presence of Shri Kailash Gahlot, Hon’ble Minister of Transport, Govt. of Delhi, Shri Prashant Goyal, Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Transport, Government of Delhi, Shri K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director, NBCC, Ms. Shilpa Shinde, Managing Director, DTC and Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), NBCC. 25 July, 2024 – Shri Manohar Lal, Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, inaugurated National Feeder Monitoring System (NFMS) Control Centre on REC Limited’s 55th Foundation Day today , at REC Headquarters, Gurugram in the presence of Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy. Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan, CMD, REC and key officials of the Ministry of Power, REC Limited and RECPDCL were also present at the occasion. NFMS, a flagship initiative of Ministry of Power, entails access to detailed information related to real time hours of power supply, power outages and overall health of ~2.5 lakh feeders (11 KV outgoing) across the country.
