LIC hands over its dividend cheque to the Government of India.
Shri R. Doraiswamy, CEO & MD, LIC of India, today presented the Dividend cheque of ₹ 12,207.25 Crore to Honourable Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, as the Government of India’s share of Dividend, approved by the Shareholders in the Annual General Meeting held on 27th July, 2026. Shri Sanjay Lohiya, Secretary, Dept. of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India was present along with the officials from Life Insurance Corporation of India, Shri Ratnakar Patnaik, MD, Shri R. Chander, MD and Shri N.S. Raghava, ZM (I/C), Northern Zone. LIC is completing 70 glorious years since its incorporation and as at 31.03.2026 has an asset base of ₹ 59.03 Lakh Crore. LIC Tie-UP with IDFC First Bank Ltd for Bancassurance
Continuing with its Endeavour to increase the contribution of banc assurance and its pursuit to provide life insurance coverage to all by 2047 LIC has tied-up with one of the best technologically advanced and promising banks in the country IDFC First Bank Ltd under Corporate Agency Arrangement. LIC undertakes agency transformation initiative “Jeevan Samarth” for higher empowerment of Agents. To continue its proud legacy of agency-led growth, LIC has embarked on an ambitious mission “Jeevan Samarth” that aims on future-proofing its entire ~14 Lakh agent workforce to meet the rapidly evolving needs of customers. To achieve this, LIC has partnered with globally renowned strategy consulting firm M/s. A. T. Kearney which will undertake this agency transformation project by reviewing the existing agency framework of LIC on an end-to-end basis. एलआईसी कर्मचारियों के वेतन संशोधन बढ़ोतरी को मंजूरी
एलआईसी कर्मचारियों के वेतन संशोधन बढ़ोतरी को मंजूरी मिली बैंकिंग सेक्टर के कर्मचारियों के वेतन संशोधन के बाद एलआईसी कर्मचारियों के वेतन संशोधन बढ़ोतरी को मंजूरी मिल चुकी है केंद्र सरकार ने 17 फ़ीसदी बढ़ोतरी को अनुमति दी है यह वेतन संशोधन अगस्त 2022 से देय हैं। इसके साथ-साथ पेंशनर्स के लिए भी के रूप में लाभ मिलने की बात प्रेस नोट में की गई है। इससे 30000 पेंशनर्स को लाभ होगा। वर्ष 2010 के उपरांत निगम की सेवा में आने वाले कर्मचारियों का एनपीएस योगदान बढ़ा कर 14 फीसदी किया गया हैं । बीते दिनों एलआईसी ने इस विषय में प्रेस नॉट जारी कर जानकारी दी एलआईसी,भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम के कर्मचारियों का वेतन संशोधन वर्ष 2022 से देय है। पिछले माह एलआईसी प्रबंधन व कर्मचारी यूनियनों के मध्य बातचीत में प्रबंधन ने 14% वेतन वृद्धि की ऑफर दी थी जिस पर संगठनों ने सकारात्मक रुख नहीं दिखाया था। अभी हाल ही में आईबीए व बैंक कर्मचारी संगठनों के बीच 17 प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी पर सहमति हुई , जिसके बाद एलआईसी कर्मचारियों के वेतन संशोधन का मुद्दा भी जल्द निष्कर्ष पर पहुँचने की बात की जा रही थी ।
