New Executive Committee of All India NTPC Workers Federation Formed
Source The Indian Worker : The 6th All India NTPC Workers Federation (INTUC) Meeting was held at NTPC Mouda, Nagpur on 11th & 12th March, 2024. The new executive of INTUC affiliated All India NTPC Workers Federation was constituted. In which the responsibility of National President Babar Salim Pasa and National General Secretary was handed over to K P Chandravanshi. National INTUC President Dr G Sanjeeva Reddy will be the NTPC INTUC Federation Patron. In the sixth national convention and working committee meeting of All India NTPC Workers Federation, it was decided to find a solution to all the problems of the employees by discussing with the management by mid-April. Besides, proposals regarding furniture buyback, laptop, promotion policy, stagnation in SG grade and recruitment of new NTPC employees were also passed. Officials of INTUC Federation of more than 20 projects of NTPC participated in this meeting organized at NTPC’s Mauda Maharashtra. In the national convention, all the pending issues of the employees were discussed in depth and the resolution was passed. Mainly in this, at the time of recruitment of employees by NTPC, there is a condition of one year training in the advertisement, which is later fixed at the time of offer appointment for a period of two years, there may be a change in this. In the offer letter, a training period of two years is issued, the training period should be fixed for one year. Similarly, to protect the interests of the contract workers working in NTPC, a proposal was passed in the meeting that a contract labor union affiliated to INTUC should be formed in all the projects of NTPC.
NTPC has set a new record of producing more than 75 thousand MW electricity. For this, the demand to provide Rs 1.5 lakh to each employee was agreed upon. In view of the decision that has been passed in the AVM proposal, the National President and General Secretary of the Federation will soon meet the management and discuss with the higher management to find a solution to all the above mentioned problems. In the meeting of All India NTPC Worker Federation, Working President, S N Sahu, NTPC Talcher Kaniha, Additional General Secretary, Dharmendra Pradhan, NTPC Dadri, National Vice President, NK Tiwari, giving equal participation to all in various projects of NTPC, including Vice President, Organization Secretary, Secretary. And was made the National Secretary and member of the National Executive. Expressed thanks to Mauda INTUC Union President Ajit and Pranay Chauhan and their entire team for making the meeting successful. Coal India’s national leader and INTUC national secretary SQ Jama and former Mauda MLA Hukumchand Amdhare were present as special guests in the program.
