New Delhi: On July 25, 2024, a delegation of leaders of Japan Council of Metal Workers’ Unions met INTUC leaders at INTUC Hqrs. Experiences of Indian Trade Union and Japanese Trade Union were exchanged between the leaders of INTUC JCM. General Secretary of INTUC, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh presided over the meeting. Addressing the delegates, Dr. Sanjay Singh told how the labour movement in India is fighting the fascist government. He told that INTUC is the biggest trade unions in the world. Regional Secretary of Industriall Ashutosh Bhattacharya along with his officials also participated in the meeting. National Vice President of INTUC, Dr. R.C. Khuntia, former MP was also present in the meeting and presented his views. Apart from this, PJ Raju, Shahnaz Rafique, Deepak Sharma, Nirmal Samal, Jaiprakash Yadav, Ashish Yadav, Vansh Bahadur Singh, Rajendra Prasad etc. were present from INTUC.
